• I had no prior experience with tripods, which made it difficult for me to open and close the legs. I suspect this would be the case with all tripods. • While the height can be adjusted with a speaker sitting on it (Bose S1 Pro), I would remove the speaker first, followed by adjusting the height, due to the pneumatic "brake." • Overall, I am very satisfied. P.S.: This thing is really lightweight! You would think it was empty when you put it in your bag.
