The classic box alternative!

With 2x12" speakers, the 1936 cabinet is ideal for guitarists who search a lightweight and compact alternative to the 4x12" Cabinet half-stack. The 1936V is equipped with two Celestion Vintage speakers for a maximum load of 140 Watts at 8Ohms.

The Celestion Vintage speaker is the original version of the well known "Celestion Vintage 30" that is here specifically designed for Marshall.

In Foren wird die 1936V oft als minderwertige Box geschunden. Sie soll drucklos klingen und aus MDF oder Spanplatten zusammengebaut sein.

Ich besitze bereits eine Orange PPC212 und Mesa Recto 2x12 und suchte noch für meinen Marshall JVM 410 eine passende Box. Die 1936 passt vom Design, Maßen als auch vom Klang super zum JVM.

Im Vergleich zur Orange und Mesa (alle mit V30 Speaker) natürlich anders. Die Orange klingt dunkler und druckvoller, die Mesa mittiger aber am neutralsten, die 1936 direkt und höhenreicher. Was nun besser klingt, hängt von der Musik ab und ist Geschmacksache. Es sind alles hervorragende Boxen.
Positiv ist die leicht abgeschrägte Front, wodurch der Ton auf Ohrhöhe des Gitarristen ankommt und nicht die Füße beschallt werden.

Zur Verarbeitung. Nein, es wird weder MDF noch Spanplatte verbaut, sondern Birkensperrholz. Die Box ist sauber verarbeitet und massiv. Scheint also Roadtauglich zu sein. Einzig die seitlichen Tragegriffe sind aus Plastik. Hier wäre Metall wertiger und vermutlich auch stabiler.

Insgesamt ist die 1936V eine hochwertige Box mit super Sound, die ich sehr empfehlen kann.
