Microtech Gefell M7 S /CMV 563

For the new M 7 S / CMV 563 model we use the vintage engineering drawings from the 1950`s to guarantee a 100% compatibility to the former M 7, M 8, M 9 and M 55 K. In the picture below you see a part of the original drawing of an M7 capsule body from 26th May 1950. Of course we do not use the paper sheets for the production only. The Microtech Gefell production department normally works with computer aided engineering. All vintage drawings were redrawn in a digital version. membrane electronic The M7 production starts in the pre-fabrication with a drilling machine and an experienced employee. In this production step we stay traditional, too. We only use the CNC milling for the newer capsule constructions. In a parallel step the grid is manufactured with a vintage hand press (German: Handspindelpresse). The most important part next to the electrode is the membrane. The M 7s uses our self-made PVC membrane covered with gold. The membrane manufacturing process hasn't changed since the development of the M 7 in the 1930's. soldering The new CMV 563's circuit board uses discrete electronic components. These are handmade soldered in our production department. The tubes are specially selected and tested by a measurement system and experienced ears. It's a very long process to find an optimize and stable tube for the CMV 563.
