Audix ADX51

The ADX51 is a high quality pre-polarized condenser microphone for a wide range of recording and live applications. With a cardioid characteristic and an even and balanced transmission range from 40 Hz to 18 kHz (+/- 3 dB), it offers a very detailed, natural and open sound transmission, for example for drum overheads, for miking hi-hats, cymbals or even for the transmission of all acoustic instruments as well as speech and singing. Choir recording and zone miking are ideal for voices in theater and orchestral areas. Low-noise electronics as well as low-impedance and symmetrical output guarantee interference-free performance? even when using longer cable lengths. The mechanically stable construction and problem-free sound processing of up to 142 dB (pad on) ensure extreme road suitability - even for high sound pressures and very loud stages. If necessary, a bass roll-off (150 Hz, switchable) prevents the transmission of low-frequency noise, such as impact noise or unwanted crosstalk. The ADX51 comes with a pivoting micro clamp with a metal knurled screw and a carrying case.
