Maxon has been producing the iconic TS-808 for Ibanez for many years. Out of curiosity, I decided to purchase the Maxon "pedal enclosure" even though I already had an Ibanez. However, I wasn't disappointed. Of course, if you already have an Ibanez, particularly an older model, there's little need to buy the Maxon; otherwise, you're essentially buying a guaranteed upgrade. The advantage of the Maxon is its on/off switch, which is less refined than the Ibanez, but definitely much more robust. I personally prefer the aesthetic of the Maxon, but this is ultimately a matter of personal preference. This pedal enclosure is a must-have for any serious guitarist!
