Semi-modular structure with 9 different patchable modules (oscillator, filter, envelope, VCA, LFO, multi-mod tool, sequencer, MIDI/CV converter and mini-keyboard) with a whopping 18 Eurorack compatible patch points to connect to yourself and other devices. East Beast is of course immediately ready for use without a patch cable and can also be controlled via MIDI. Furthermore, an arpeggiator, a sequencer and tap tempo clock were donated to it.
As a clever feature, East Beast can be used standalone in the supplied housing or alternatively as a module in Eurorack format.
East Beast is a fresh take on these old-school concepts with a few beastly twists thrown in here and there.
East Beast’s oscillator is a part of the 5th generation of analog oscillators stemming from a super-serious 10 years of continued research into analog oscillator development.
East Beast’s filter is a multi-mode filter, meaning it can be used as a low pass filter, high pass filter, bandpass filter, or a combination of the three for an even wider sonic palate.
