Fun, expressive and diverse...love it!

At the beginning I was very sceptical about this instrument, but since I got it, I'm obsessed with it! The breath control ads beautiful dynamics to the melody, and the software comes with a sound bank beyond wind instruments, which opens up a whole lot of sonic and melodic possibilities...so glad to have it now in my music arsenal :)
Careful though: there are two types of EWI: Midi USB (needs a cable and a laptop to produce sound), and a stand-alone instrument...if you use a DAW, the former works amazingly, if you use modular synth or aiming for DAWless jamming or performances, the latter might be more suitable for this purpose.
