The DT 797 is the successful synthesis of the closed reference studio headphones DT 770 PRO, the high-quality condenser microphone from the DT 297 headset and a new, rotating gooseneck microphone arm. This was specifically developed for live broadcasts in very noisy environments, as well as sporting events, etc., where isolation from outside noise, durability and wearing comfort are the most important decision criteria. The powerful headphone systems, with a transmission range of 5 - 30,000 Hz, ensure perfect playback precision and a balanced, spacious sound. The noise-insulating housing and the circumaural softskin ear pads ensure excellent isolation from outside noise. The innovative, rotatable gooseneck microphone arm can be adjusted to any position so that the condenser microphone is always at the optimal speaking angle. Thanks to the rotating gooseneck microphone arm, the microphone can be used both left and right or can be placed in the "rest position". A larger microphone capsule with significantly improved depth reproduction is used for the condenser microphone. The cardioid characteristic ensures a high level of feedback security and noise cancellation. To avoid damage, the cables in the headband and in the gooseneck microphone arm are concealed.
