Description

As the simplest model in the series, the Scarlett Solo allows third-generation singer-songwriters to have a reassuringly simple recording process. Equipped with powerful AD-DA converters up to 24-bit/192kHz, Scarlett guarantees the same professional sound quality throughout the third-generation series.

It features a redesigned Scarlett mic preamp: with an optional Air mode to reproduce the Air effect of Focusrite's original ISA mic preamp, giving your vocal recordings a brighter and more open sound.

The instrument input, with plenty of resistance and headroom, allows you to record guitars and basses without clipping or unwanted distortion, while the gain halos make it easy to read the input level.

Scarlett Solo's balanced outputs are hum-free when connected to balanced studio monitor inputs, so you can always count on perfect audio reproduction.

Prepared for the rough and tumble of touring, the Scarlett Solo connects directly to your Mac® or PC via a USB cable; you don't need an external power supply. The interface comes with all the software tools you need to get started, including two well-stocked DAWs: Ableton® Live LiteTM and Pro Tools® First Focusrite Creative Pack. Intuitive enough for beginners, yet so comprehensive that even advanced users will be inspired by the great-sounding effects.

Focusrite, in partnership with Splice, is offering owners of 3rd generation interfaces a free subscription to Splice Sounds for 3 months with the creation of a new Splice account. Splice Sounds offers millions of high-quality, royalty-free individual sounds, loops, and presets, with new releases daily from your favorite producers, sound designers, and artists.
