Description

  • Use of “branched pipe”

With a "branched pipe" added to the cylindrical bore, the tone of a conical bore instrument (e.g., saxophone) is achieved in compact size.

  • Meandering pipe

A meandering pipe is used to shrink the distance between tone holes for a simplified structure to minimize the use of keys. Easy fingering similar to recorders that is easy to play even for those who are new to wind instruments.

  • Durable, easy-to-handle material

The body made with ABS resin is durable and washable with water. With a Durable resin reed and synthetic pads (for key parts), cleaning is easy.

  • Two-piece body

The upper and lower sections of the body can be separated for easy cleaning.

The YVS-140 covers the lower octave range, using the same C key as the YVS-100, but offers a warmer, softer sound. YVS-140 comes in a soft case instead of a hard case like its two predecessors. The upper and lower parts are stored separately in the case. The mouthpiece is identical to the mouthpiece of the tenor saxophone Mod. 4C. Mod.

Supplied items

A fun instrument, carefree handling but ....

It sounds like half clarinet, half sax,,, probably not. but it is a bit like that. it is a carefree instruments, quite well built, and comes with a good plastic case. For the price, there is little to complain about (but also not much to write home about). But it is fun. It is a C instrument and not b flat orchestra tunes (and I wish if they have b flat orchestra would be also good). There is one thing to know it before you buy it. It may be just because of me. I have never played sax nor clarinet, and still learning how to play Veneva. The tunes, keys are not quite on the spot. e.g. playing B, for me, it plays the note higher and it should be. It is also hard for me to play C4 or D4 right now (but I'm an absolute beginner), it can come out as C5 and D5 instead. You can adjust how you press the air or reed but I never able to get it perfectly right. But as a fun instrument, it may not matter so much. It plays quite loud, so when you play, e.g. in a room or an apartment, others will hear you playing. I would love to have Guggenmusik but well, having C tuned and not B flat tuned, it makes it harder to play with others. Do I recommend it? Well, if you like to experiment different music instruments without spending much money, then, absolutely yes. I am thinking of getting myself a tenor and alto Venova.

Top Quality

Really great sound, feature set and sound quality. Best way to enjoy saxophone when you are on the go and easy to pick up if you know how to play the recorder.
