Large diaphragm microphone with switchable directional characteristic.
The C314 can be used in a variety of ways thanks to its four switchable directional characteristics. You can choose between omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-of-eight. This enables direct pick-up, directional and omnidirectional room recordings.
With a minimum self-noise of only 8 dB (A), the C314 is one of the lowest-noise microphones. It has a wide dynamic range and offers outstanding sound quality thanks to its fine resolution. The double-diaphragm capsule is gold-plated and is also used in the classic C414.
For optimum sound adjustment, the C314 has a switchable -20 dB preattenuation and a switchable low-cut filter. overdrives are reliably indicated with an LED.
