I play in an acoustic band, and we have a small PA system that only has two microphone inputs. That's where the proMIX comes in. It allows us to connect three additional microphones (including phantom power), and it's very easy to use. The best thing is that the signal can be taken from the headphone output, so all that's needed is a standard line input on the mixing console. We didn't notice any additional noise or a degradation in sound quality. The processing quality isn't outstanding, but it's perfectly adequate for a device in this price range. However, you need to be careful with the levels. If the red LED lights up, it means there's already distortion. So, it's better to use a slightly lower output level, which is much safer :-)
