I am not a professional drums player. I use it to accompany my electronic music sessions. There are 10 drums kit and very fortunately a guy (LesserChance) did a great tool for Win/MAC/Lin on GitHub to prepare and load other samples and kit directly on the SD Card. It saves us a huge amount of time because doing it from the Samplepad Pro's LED screen and buttons is not very pratical. If you purchase that SamplePad Pro go have a look 'github.com/LesserChance/samplepad-editor'. Appart from that lots of sound related options to tune samples. The device quality looks very good for its rather low price for this kind of e-drum/sample pads. Its firmware version was greater than the one proposed on Alesis Support site.
