I play bass on the street, and the sound is perfectly adequate. But only with the combo pack! Yes, the low frequencies are still audible, and of course, it's not a professional-grade bass sound, but there are plenty of larger instruments available. I use the box with a Boss BR80 (for more effects and sound control options), and I connect directly to the MP3 jack. The sound, to my taste, can be: quiet and bass-heavy, loud and bright, or even distorted. The built-in compressor control is fantastic, honestly. If the knob is turned all the way to zero, the sound is also quite narrow, so I only need the overdrive (a miniamp) to get the necessary punch. Overall, it's a really great piece of equipment for the price. It's also sufficient for jamming. The battery lasts about 3-7 hours on full power. For transport and decoration, I built a case to fit everything. It looks cool and hides the box somewhat. Plug in the bass, turn it on, and start playing. To drain the batteries, I listen to music through another box, while the rest stays in the case. The battery (6x AA batteries were purchased) charges quickly and lasts for 1-2 days, even if I play a lot.
