Passive 100-Watt Power Attenuator for Guitar and Bass Amplifiers with Emulated Mic Output

Great product

Anfags denkt man: super, macht genau, was er soll: den Gitarrenverstärker leiser. 
Nach etwas mehr als einem Jahr hat er sich an der Hitze, die er produziert, verbraten. Zum Glück habe ich den komischen Geruch bemerkt, sonst hätte das Teil vielleicht sogar noch einen Brand ausgelöst...

An inexpensive attenuator that only provides half of the amplifier's maximum power, but is still very useful for "pushing" a tube amplifier without damaging your hearing! However, there's a drawback regarding the pseudo-microphone output: the signal level is quite low and very sensitive to electromagnetic interference generated by the amplifier's transformer, which means the attenuator needs to be kept away from the amplifier to minimize the interference.

Good value for money

Der Power Soak regelt tiptop. Jedoch verbraucht die interne Elektronik zuviel Energie. Bei 100% Volume ist der Amp immer noch sehr leise. Für Wohnzimmer bestens geeignet, aber für den Live Einsatz meines Erachtens nicht zu gebrauchen.  
Dieser wichtige Hinweis habe ich nicht in der Beschreibung gefunden. Daher Eigenschaft unzufrieden.

Simple and reliable

Excellent, fait parfaitement le job comme atténuateur. Je n'utilise pas la sortie DI pour l'enregistrement.
Le son ne me semble pas trop dénaturé à tous les niveaux d'atténuation et peut être corrigé facilement par l'équalisation de l'ampli si besoin mais je ne fais même pas. Correspond parfaitement à mes besoin j'obtiens un son Crunch de mon ampli à niveau accoustique résonnable sans déranger mon entourage.
De bien entendu on ne peut pas s'attendre au même rendu à très faible volume cat le HP ne déplace presque plus d'air me ce sera la même chose avec des atténuateurs beaucoup plus cher.
Donc excellent rapport prix/performance je trouve. 
10/10 pour moi, je recommsande que vous fassiez un essai si vous êtesd intéressés à jouer à un niveau raisonnable.
De plus je l'utilise également pour jouer en stéréo sur 2 amplis de puissance complètement différente: 
Fender Twin Reverb et Marshall Class5  
J'arrive à mettre le Twin facilement à un niveau équivalment au Class5 avec un son crush !

Es macht laute Amps stufenlos leise, ist stabil sowie wertig gebaut und ist günstig. Soviel zum Positiven.

Leider geht durch die Leistungsreduzierung der Klang erheblich verloren. Es klaut Höhen und Bässe, klingt flach und undynamisch/flach.

Ich würde den Bugera nicht wieder kaufen.

Kann ich nicht empfehlen

Schnell eingerichtet und es funktioniert. Stufenlos bis 0db einzustellen.

Einfach und zuverlässig

Excellent, it performs perfectly as an attenuator. I don't use the DI output for recording.

The sound doesn't seem overly distorted at all attenuation levels, and can be easily corrected with the amplifier's EQ if needed, but I don't even bother. It perfectly meets my needs; I can get a crunchy sound from my amplifier at a reasonable acoustic level without disturbing my surroundings.

Of course, you can't expect the same results at very low volumes, as the speaker barely moves air, and this will be the same with much more expensive attenuators.

Therefore, I find it to be excellent value for money.
10/10 for me, I recommend giving it a try if you're interested in playing at a reasonable volume.

Furthermore, I also use it to play through two completely different amplifiers:
Fender Twin Reverb and Marshall Class 5.
I can easily bring the Twin up to a level equivalent to the Class 5, with a crunchy sound!

J'utilise cet atténuateur sur mon Peavey classic 30 depuis plus d'un an. Cet amplificateur a un son superbe, mais le niveau de sortie sonore est bien trop élevé pour jouer en appartement, j'ai donc cherché a acheter un atténuateur (passif de préférence) et mon choix s'est porté sur le Bugera PS1 (passif, compact). L'ampli n'ayant pas de sortie 'speaker', j'ai du le modifier pour pouvoir intercaler le Bugera PS1. Le résultat est à la fois intéressant et mitigé. D'un point de vue atténuation, si je laisse le bugera au minimum, je peux pousser l'ampli sans craindre le volume (je peux jouer le soir sans craindre pour mes voisins et les enfants). Par contre dès que l'on tourne un peu le potentiomètre du Bugera, on se retrouve instantanément à nouveau avec un volume trop important... Bref cet appareil ne permet que peu de finesse d'ajustement sur le volume sonore. Moi cela me suffit dans mon contexte, mais c'est parfois rageant.

Fait son job, mais...

Das Gerät ist gut gebaut und kann mit einem extra Speaker-Kabel zwischen Verstärker-Head und -Boxen angeschlossen werden. Eignet sich vor allem gut bei Clean Sounds!

Gut und günstig

Atténuateur bon marché n'offrant que la moitié de la puissance maximale de l'ampli mais néanmoins bien pratique pour 'pousser' un ampli à tubes sans devenir sourd! Bémol concernant la sortie symétrique pseudo-micro: niveau assez faible et très sensible aux perturbations électromagnétiques générées par le transfo de l'ampli, ce qui oblige à éloigner l'atténuateur de l'ampli pour atténuer la perturbation.
