Simple but useful tool when it comes to networking multiple systems or enclosures together. It is used to connect up to 14 audio or control signals between different A-100 enclosures with common network cables (RJ45). These cables are easily available worldwide in different lengths and colors.
The upper network connector is connected to the 8 jacks 1-8, the lower one to the 6 jacks A-F. This way the modules in the different enclosures can be completely pre-patched for live applications. The signals needed in the housings at the same time (e.g. Clock, Start, Stop, Master CV) are then connected with only one or two network cables. If only 8 signals are needed, one network cable is sufficient. In this case only sockets 1-8 are used. If more than 8 signals are needed, 2 network cables are required. It is also possible to split the connections, i.e. to connect sockets 1-8 between two systems with one network cable and sockets A-F with another system.
