The Scarlett 18i20 is the industry-leading USB audio interface for project studios. Its professional converters are directly derived from Focusrite 's flagship RedNet series. Ideal for tracking, the eight 4th generation microphone preamps deliver an impressive 69 dB of gain , capable of capturing even the most dynamic performances. Auto gain and Clip Safe modes handle level control, allowing you to focus entirely on recording. The Scarlett 18i20 is also the perfect hub for connecting your DAW and hardware, providing ample analog and digital inputs and outputs for various external instruments, processors, and effects . Even complex routing tasks can be easily accomplished using Focusrite Control 2 software. The Hitmaker Expansion, included with all 4th generation, 3rd generation, Clarett+, Clarett USB, and Red Scarlett interfaces, is a software collection from Focusrite partners that delivers professional studio sound for every recording. Celemony Melodyne Essential allows for easy correction and manipulation of monophonic vocals, instruments, drums, drones, and other sounds using highly regarded, natural-sounding algorithms. Softube Flow® Guitar Essentials is a specially curated collection of two amp simulations, three effects, and a selection of guitar-specific signal paths for realistic, recorded sounds with maximum flexibility and minimal effort. Cubase LE is now included with Scarlett interfaces. We are pleased to announce that Cubase LE, Steinberg's compact DAW based on the same core technologies as Cubase Pro, is now included with all 4th and 3rd generation Scarlett interfaces.
