This is a basic foot rest. Of course, it does the job, which means when you put your foot on it, it doesn't collapse or move around (which is the minimum I would expect from a foot rest). However, the adjustable height does not have a proper lock, which means if you want to move it around, the adjustment just goes off and you need to set it up again at the new place.
