Heinrichshofen Ave verum corpus KV618 / Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The motet Ave verum corpus (KV 618) is one of Mozart's best-known works. The four higher recorders (choir A) take over the part of the mixed choir from the original, while the continuo can be soloized with the lower recorders (choir B). A performance with a full recorder orchestra is just as possible as with a recorder octet. In the event that an ensemble does not have large and subbass instruments, this edition offers a 4-foot version in addition to the 8-foot version.
