Hohner is a German musical instrument company founded in 1857 by Mathias Hohner. It is particularly known for its harmonicas, which were originally the only instruments produced.

Since then, Hohner also produces guitars, flutes, accordions, keyboards and drums.

Its simple construction and good tone response make it ideal for getting started with music. The Chrometta 10 has extra notes in the low range. The first hole on the left starts with "g" when blowing, i.e. two and a half tones lower than the normal, bowed "c" of the normal 12-hole chromonicas.
