The ARC system from IK Multimedia has proven itself over the years in many recording and listening situations worldwide as an effective means of ensuring security and control when mixing and mastering under a wide variety of even the most difficult room acoustic conditions. The new version ARC 4 uses a revised analysis and correction algorithm. Award-winning VRM™ (Volumetric Response Modeling) technology measures in a 3D space around the listening position and creates a 3D snapshot of your room, identifying problem zones without overly processing the sound. This delivers results that cannot be found in other digital room correction systems. As a further novelty, ARC 4 has a quick mode and can carry out a room measurement with 7 measuring points, ideal for mobile setups. An additional 21-point measuring program is available for the most accurate results.
