Für einen Bass mit dieser kleinen Grösse, dem leichten Gewicht und diesem Preis ein ausgesprochen erwachsener Klang, eine ausgezeichnete Bespielbarkeit für kleinere Hände oder für mich als älteren Bassisten bei welchem die Beweglichkeit der Finger langsam aber sicher zu leiden Beginnt, eine Empfehlung. Klar habe ich meiner Sammlung Instrumente von Marleaux / Clover / Whaschburn und von Hohner welche im Ton noch kräftiger rüber kommen und noch ein Qäntchen mehr Sustain haben, aber das sind Nuancen angesichts der Gewichts- und Preisunterschiede. Ich kann dieses Bassmodell von Ibanez uneingeschränkt empfehlen, im speziellen diese Ausführung (Hölzer). Ich spiele inzwischen 3 Stk. davon, mit unterschiedlichen Besaitung. 1x Originalsaiten (Roundwound Steel), 1x Roundwound Nickel (Warwick) Longscalesaiten mit einem Adapter für die E-Saite und 1x Flatwound JAZZ Nickel (Thomastik Infeld). Mit letzteren und einem leichten Schaumstoffdämpfer vor der Brücke erreiche ich eine Klang sehr Nahe an einem Rockabilly oder Country Kontrabass. Viel Spass mit BASS
