All 88 keys are made entirely of long wooden parts, with the white keys having Ivory Touch coverings to optimize playing control. Each of the 88 keys moves gently on a balance beam, like you would find on an acoustic grand piano. Thanks to the long keys (especially the length from the front edge of the key to the balance bar pin), playing the back area of ​​the keys is easier. The Grand Feel Compact keyboard mechanism features graduated weighted hammers, counterweights in the bass range and a pressure point simulation. All functions can be accessed via the redesigned control panel and the OLED display. No keyboard operation is necessary. Further equipment The powerful lesson function in the CA401 supports the aspiring pianist in learning to play the piano through an integrated collection of studies typical for piano lessons by Czerny, Burgmüller or Beyer as well as the well-known Alfred Piano courses. Each exercise track can be played at variable tempo with individual left or right hand playback before being recorded along with your own playing for self-checking.
