The clever design of the handytraxx tube J offers more than just exceptional sound: With an integrated speaker system, a headphone output, and the ability to digitize records via USB, the turntable sets new standards in functionality. Thanks to its compact size and lightweight design, the handytraxx tube J is ideal for mobile use. The die-cast aluminum turntable platter ensures maximum precision and smooth rotation. The device also features a belt drive controlled by specially developed software, which optimally adjusts the rotation speed. The universal tonearm with interchangeable headshell and adjustable counterweight allows flexible adaptation to different systems with a recommended contact pressure of up to 4 grams or less. At the heart of the handytraxx tube J is KORG's Nutube vacuum tube technology, a modern interpretation of classic tube technology. This lends the sound harmonious overtones, a warm timbre, and impressive bass. A dedicated TUBE control allows the tube sound to be individually adjusted to create a perfect balance between authenticity and personal taste. This technology is complemented by integrated tone controls for bass and treble, allowing precise adjustment to different music genres and acoustic preferences. Produced in a limited edition, this portable turntable combines innovative design with the state-of-the-art JICO Clipper MM system to ensure outstanding sound quality. The Clipper MM system is characterized by the excellent manufacturing quality that has made JICO famous for decades. It surpasses conventional MM systems and offers outstanding audio characteristics with the exclusive CRCP/MK1 needle. The system is also compatible with the JICO N44-7 and N44C needles and delivers precise vibration reproduction through the conical S-shaped boom, which ensures accurate and balanced sound reproduction.
