Hilo 2 is the next generation of the award-winning Hilo A/DD/A audio converter, featuring independently coupled two analog inputs and six analog outputs. Hilo 2 - Lynx Studio Technology Hilo 2 offers a number of improvements over the original Hilo model, including even more transparent converter performance for the line inputs and line outputs through lower distortion and lower noise. The sample clock has been upgraded to SynchroLock 2, which offers faster locking and better tracking of external clocks, as well as absolute accuracy of 7ppm. The Hilo 2 also features a higher quality IPS color touchscreen, which offers significantly higher brightness, smoother off-axis display, and improved touch sensitivity. Hilo 2 also offers an upgrade path for sampling rates beyond 192 kHz and DSD on the input and output, as well as selectable linear and minimum phase filters on its line inputs and outputs.
