I ordered the BASS PREAMP for my electric bass. It's a lot of fun to use with my practice amp at home. It's quiet and produces a full, rich sound from the practice amp. It's also great for practicing with headphones, with a built-in audio input. The sound quality over headphones is excellent. It's also great for practicing with an active electric bass, as it really makes the bass "growl". However, it's less useful when connected to a larger bass system. It doesn't make as much of a difference. This is because there are plenty of other settings available on the larger system. I also don't find the overdrive and fuzz circuits very useful. I prefer to use my own overdrive pedal when I want overdrive, as it gives me more control. Overall, I'm very happy with the BASS PREAMP. It's a great product for practicing with headphones or with a practice amp, and it also works well as a DI box for connecting directly to a mixing console. It really helps to improve the sound of my bass!
Ordered on Thursday, received on the following Monday! Excellent. Tried it out during a rehearsal as a substitute for my usual amplifier, with perfect results. My band approves!
