The active VM-70 produces clear audio with fast response and powerful bass. The speaker can be tailored to the characteristics of each room, making it perfect for creating a club sound when DJing or offering a flat frequency response when producing music in a home or professional studio. Each VM series speaker includes a Class D amplifier with 96 kHz DSP to enable wide bandwidth audio playback. Its highly efficient performance results in low distortion and high-energy sound. The 4 mm thick aluminum front insert also suppresses resonances and vibrations and delivers a sound that authentically reproduces the original source. Aramid fiber woofers offer an excellent punch that you will feel in the bass and at low mid-frequencies. These newly developed cones are 30 percent lighter than conventional paper-lined aramid cones, which makes them more powerful when the sound is deeper. The Vortex Bass Accelerator ensures dense, vibration-free deep bass, because the air flows freely out of the loudspeaker through ribs in the bass reflex port. Medium and high frequency tones are reproduced powerfully thanks to the CD horn, which also creates a wide, even listening space. The shape of the horn and the woofer edge are specially designed in such a way that the flat playback frequency is particularly easily transferred to the tweeter, resulting in a natural sound. The brand new design of the hexagonal aluminum bezel gives it a fresh look as well as improved sound quality and durability.
