I only use this for its ability to create analogue drone sounds live, and for that, it is great. Very lightweight and transportable easy to operate with its inbuilt battery that can easily last for a gig. It is a bit fiddly to operate with small knobs, so if you have big fingers, maybe not so good. The sound and sync outputs in minijack make it fragile too, but overall for the price and the music I am making, it is outstanding.

Sound

There's a short but steep learning curve on this synth - but it's absolutely worth every second of that. Four voices of very well emulated analogue warmth. Three FX - I know - you think it's just the Delay and Reverb, but there's a super musical Chorus in there too. Because it is battery powered, you can just sit in a comfortable chair with this box and a pair of headphones and have fun. And, with the fun, comes the creativity. Very happy to recommend this box. Don't take my word for it - go have a look at loopop's review on YouTube. Only four stars for Operation - but I suspect (and hope) Roland will polish off the rough edges in a future firmware update.
