Sandberg Guitars is a german manufacturer of musical instruments from Braunschweig, ans specialised in thre production of electrical basses and guitars.

The company was founded 1986 by Holger Stonjek and his friend Gerd Gorzelke. At this time, Holger Stonjek was a trainee as a piano builder at "Wilhelm Schimmel Pianofortefabrik GmbH". The company name derived from the first wrokshop adress "Am Sandberg" in Ehmen.
