The e 902 is a dynamic cardioid instrument microphone, which was designed for lowest bass signals with very high sound pressure levels.
It is suitable for kick drums, bass guitar-amps, tuba, and other bass instruments.

Das Sennheiser e902 hört sich genau so an, wie sich eine moderne Bassdrum anhören sollte. Für mich sind es etwas zu viel hohe Mitten und etwas zu wenig mittlerer Bass (ca. 150 Hz). Das Mikrofon ist sehr gut verarbeitet.

The Sennheiser e902 sounds exactly as a modern bass drum should. For me, it has a bit too much high-midrange and a bit too little mid-bass (around 150 Hz). The microphone is very well-made.
