The Nexadyne 2 Kick Drum Microphone is a supercardioid dynamic microphone for professional performance. The Nexadyne 2 is designed specifically to maximize the frequency range of the kick drum and other lower-frequency instruments from patented Shure Revonic dual-engine transducer technology, with two precisely calibrated transducers working together to achieve optimal performance. The result is a high-performing microphone that combines state-of-the-art acoustic signal processing, exceptional supercardioid polar pattern linearity, and noise reduction. Built with the consistency, durability, and performance that only Shure can provide, the Nexadyne 2 ships with a discreet black finish and included zipper pouch.
Revonic™ Dual-Engine Transducer Technology
This mic uses a patented dual-transducer cartridge design (two precisely-calibrated dynamic transducers) which cancels out mechanical vibration, gives consistent polar-pattern behaviour, and allows the mic to be tuned acoustically inside the cartridge.
Supercardioid Polar Pattern & Low-Frequency Optimization
The Nexadyne 2 features a supercardioid pickup pattern (giving strong off-axis rejection) and a frequency response that goes down to around 20 Hz, optimized for kick drums and other bass-heavy sources.
Rugged, Pro-Stage Build with Practical Mounting Features
The mic is built with durable materials (die-cast or zinc housing), includes a swivel joint separated from the XLR output for secure placement, and is compact enough to fit in challenging setups yet robust enough for touring.
