The Source Audio One Series Collider Stereo Delay+Reverb combines two of the most popular effect types in one simple and intuitive pedal. Drawn from the effect engines of the award-winning Nemesis Delay and Ventris Dual Reverb, Collider offers the best delay and reverb effects in one compact, no-compromise package. The pedal allows for any combination of its five delay engines with any of its seven reverb effects and has dedicated ON/OFF switches for each effect. It is also possible to create independent dual delay or dual reverb presets. The pedal has dedicated MIDI input/output as well as support for expression control and remote switching. The Collider contains two completely independent 56-bit DSP processors, essentially housing a high-powered delay pedal and a high-powered reverb pedal in a single box. Its dual DSP platform gives the pedal the massive processing power to deliver two studio quality effects simultaneously.

I had both a reverb and a delay pedal from TC on my board. They produce (good) basic sounds, but I wanted something more, so I watched a lot of videos and came across the Collider. The price might initially be a deterrent, but you get two top-quality units in one enclosure. Reverb: Very airy and clear. All presets offer excellent sound. My favorite is the Plate Reverb. This unit noticeably colors the sound (so it's not neutral), but I still want to use it (or even because of that). The sound is rich in the low-mids (without muddiness), and the reverb is top-notch. Thanks to the presets, you can use one as a constant reverb effect, and another for creating spherical soundscapes, etc. Delay: I was already spoiled by my Korg SD3000. While the Collider's delay can't do quite as much, it does it very well, especially with modulation delays. The control concept is brilliant (after a bit of getting used to it). The editor is much better than TonePrint (in terms of usability). Conclusion: Operation successful – I got two high-quality reverb and delay pedals, and I can use the device as a simple stompbox, or program it. For me, it's a special piece that I probably won't give up again.
