The overall quality is superb; there's simply nothing to fault with the construction. What's truly impressive is the sound—it has a rich, resonant tone even when played acoustically (unplugged). The on-board effects are excellent. Specifically, the reverb and chorus are superior to those on the Yamaha SLG-200 I owned previously, and the delay performs flawlessly. The neck profile is a huge win for ergonomics, providing a very comfortable and fast playing experience. The only minor caveat is one inherent to most acoustics: push the volume in a tight space with the effects cranked, and you'll likely run into some feedback issues.

Features

I have held my new Yamaha TAG3C Sandburst in my hands for the past 2 weeks and find it hard to put it down. It is everything the review videos on Youtube said it is. Its a beautifully made guitar with all solid wood, mahogany body, sitka spruce top, ebony fret-board, mahogany neck. It plays wonderfully and the out-of-the-box set-up is perfect. The elixir strings play nicely and I know the last a long time from experience. The natural sound of the guitar is well balanced and warm as you would expect with mahogany. But the fun starts with all of the inbuilt sound effects which are astonishing! Reverb, delay, chorus add so much joy to playing...and I haven't even tried out the looper yet! I will get to it in good time, but for the moment, I am just enjoying this guitar so much.
