Ich spiele hobbymässig Gitarre, interessiere mich aber seit längerer Zeit auch für Bass. Der TRBX304 wird in vielen Reviews als perfektes Einsteiger-Instrument empfohlen, was ich soweit absolut bestätigen kann. Bis auf den relativ niedrigen Preis würde ich diesen Bass aber überhaupt nicht als Einsteigermodell bezeichnen (obwohl ich das als Anfänger bei Bässen natürlich nur bedingt beurteilen kann). Er ist super verarbeitet, fühlt sich top an, und klingt meiner Meinung nach auch richtig gut. Beim EQ-Wahlschalter hören sich für mich einige der Einstellungen zwar eher eigenartig an - es mangelt aber nicht an alternativen Settings, die dann wiederum top klingen. Es gibt wohl kaum einen Sound, den man mit den ganzen Pots und Switches nicht irgendwie hinkriegt, wenn man genug Geduld hat, um etwas zu pröbeln. Besonders hilfreich finde ich dabei den Pick-Up Blend Knopf, mit dem man eine beliebige Mischung aus Neck- und Bridge Pick-Up einstellen kann. Den Bass Boost finde ich im Gegensatz dazu eher gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber man muss ihn ja auch nicht verwenden, wenn man nicht will. Die Verarbeitung lässt, wie bereits erwähnt, ebenfalls nicht zu wünschen übrig. Es wackelt nichts, sämtliche Schrauben lassen sich mühelos verstellen, und das Instrument fühlt sich insgesamt äusserst angenehm an. Alles in Allem bin ich mit meinem Kauf äusserst zufrieden. Der Bass macht Spass und motiviert zum Spielen und zum Lernen.
