I primarily use the Zoom F6 for audio recordings in video productions. The six channels, which allow me to record separate audio tracks with timecode onto an SD card, are ideal for my work. The sound quality, the ability to record in 32-bit float format, the compact size, and the long battery life were the deciding factors in my purchase. I also use the included camera mount, but the screw always comes loose every time I remove the DSLR.
