Ich wollte meine DBZ Venom von Aktiv (EMG 81/85) zu Passiv umbauen und habe mich bei DiMarzio informieren lassen. Dieser Passiv-Humbucker lässt so richtig die Sonne aufgehen am Amp. Man glaubt kaum, das der EMG-Sound so gut wiedergegeben wird, mit all seinen Vorteilen, jedoch mit all der Dynamik und die spielerischen Details eines passiven Humbuckers. Der Tonabnehmer ist einfach grandios, liefert genau die Brillianz und das Low-End was ich bei der EMG 81 vermisst habe. Top!!!
