Great system - definitely worth the money

This is a great wireless system for home use. The battery lasts a long time, it does not experience any interference. And to my ears, the tone is not affected. If you are deciding between this and something cheaper, spend the extra money on this from the beginning so that you don't have to pay twice.

Cord free!

I’ve heard complaints about the latency, but I don’t notice any, even playing fast, tapping. etc.
The Xvive has higher latency and don’t notice that either. Fits most Gibson and Fender jacks, doesn’t fit the PRS Silver Sky jack, or the concave Asher jack, had to use the Xvive for those guitars. The Boss WL transmitter has a small, spring loaded tumbler that turns on the transmitter when inserted into a jack. I’ve had to unscrew the jack and bend the jack prong to get enough pressure on the tumbler to activate the transmitter on a few of my Fenders and a Duesenberg Starplayer Special. The Xvive has an on/off switch, no tumbler, (no prong adjusting), and is narrow so it fits any guitar jack. IMHO the Boss sounds a tiny bit better. For recording, I would advise using a cable. In a live gig, especially through a PA system, only a pro musician with a really good ear is going to notice the difference between the WL vs cable. If you use WL, always have a cable ready for backup. Remember Murphy’s Law, and the Boy Scout motto:
Be Prepared.

Good for practice

Good for practice. Sound quality not good enough for performing, not dynamic enough. Hopefully one day there will be wireless that IS good enough. **Addendum: You do lose some tiny bits and pieces, but if your amp is miked through a PA system the difference between a cable and this wireless will very likely go unnoticed. I’ve read some complaints about the latency, but I don’t detect any, the Vive has higher latency and I don’t detect that either. Maybe some ultra-high speed shredder can detect it. This wireless won’t work on the PRS Silver Sky, won’t fit in the jack plate, the Vive will**

Great no wires

I am delighted with these wireless connectors from bose. Very good life span, i used these for over three hours and the quality of the sound was still amazing.

Highly recommend these for any guitarist. Whether its electric or acoustic. Brilliant pieve of equipment.
