Description

A historically significant amp used on countless hit songs for decades. Today, the '65 Princeton Reverb is as phenomenal looking, sounding and performing as ever, and is easily versatile enough to go from the living room to the recording studio to the gig with the great sound, style, reliability and authentic vintage vibe that Fender players know and love. One of the coolest amps around, period, it's ideal for anyone who demands top-notch tube tone, naturally dynamic clean and overdriven sound, and unmistakable long-spring Fender reverb and tube vibrato.

Great amp

Very well put together. Sturdy and flawless finish and interior.
I didnt like the stock speaker. In my opinion its a bit trebly and spiky. I am playing jazz so I am looking for clean tones. Its nothing wrong with the stock Jensen, but just not for me. Got an Eminence Lil Buddy and it transformed the Princeton. Very, very, smooth classic 'jazz tones'.
Also, put a 12AU7 in the preamp position.

The spring reverb is very nice. Produces a bit of humming at higher settings, but that is to be expected from an analogue reverb. The Tremolo is also a fine effect. Never liked it before in various digital versions, but this tube powered one is just great.

All in all, a great Princeton version for us who cannot afford a vintage one.
