Description
Analogue where it matters? digital where it counts
None other than Chris Huggett, the man behind legendary synthesizers such as Bass Station, Supernova, OSCar and many more was integrated into the development of Peak. The starting point for Peak was Bass Station II, our analog mono synth. In addition to the completely analog sounding NCOs (Numerically Controlled Oscillators), 17 digital wavetables were implemented in Peak to increase flexibility.
Create and refine new sounds from scratch
Broaden your creative horizons and let yourself be inspired by new things. The modulation system offers you frequently used assignments directly and without any detours. With just a few keystrokes, you can also create more extensive modulations or achieve additional assignment levels.
Simply connect to everything
You can connect Peak directly to your PC or Mac via USB and start playing. Thanks to the MIDI inputs and outputs, you can also connect Peak to other MIDI equipment. Or you can integrate Peak into a modular system via the CV modulation input.
Fed up with distortion
In each voice you have three distortions available in the analog signal chain: before the filter, after the filter and globally.
Expressive control
Peak can receive polyphonic aftertouch, which significantly increases your ability to express yourself while playing.
Cross-modulated oscillators
You can also use the three Oxford Oscillators for each voice as a linear FM source, both with the analog sounding NCOs (Numerically Controlled Oscillators) and with the digital wavetables. You also have the option to cross-modulate these in a recursive loop.
Comprehensive modulation system
Peak has a modulation matrix with 16 slots and 16 direct assignments, which are cleverly arranged for intuitive patch design and multi-faceted sound processing. You can access three ADSR envelopes and two LFOs in each voice.
Easily switchable modulation
The two Animate buttons are perfect for live performers because you can instantly change your patches with just one touch.
Factory sounds that blow your mind
The factory sounds sound impressive, thanks to reverb, delay and chorus as well as the arpeggiator.
Easy connection with hardware and software
Connect Peak to your music software and MIDI compatible hardware? in perfect synchronization, of course. You can use Peak together with modular systems via the CV modulation input.
