Radikal Technologies RT-1701

The RT-1701 Effexx consists of a stereo input stage with overdrive, equalizer or filter section, two multi-effects and a reverb processor. By routing system, all components can be flexibly linked. The multi effects include two echo types, chorus, phaser, and flanger, as well as Leslie, pitch shifter, and karplus strong algorithms. Potentiometers and buttons are used for editing. Finished configurations can be saved as snapshots. By means of internal LFO or external CV-signal one can fade soft between data sets. Parameter settings are interpolated here.

In operation, the RT-1701 shines through high-resolution, classy sound. With the delay algorithms not only atmospheric echoes, but also robust, tonal colorations can be achieved. The modulation effects are very lively. The reverb processor delivers studio-quality room simulations. The Karplus-Strong algorithms can be controlled according to the standard 1 V per octave, resulting string sounds are so tonal correctly playable.
