Description

With modern feel and design, this new base can produce the desired sound for any genres of music from soft to strong metal grunge music and for that special touch in detail, The M7 truss rod cover and back plate is made with real wood for premium look and feel.
The SIRE M7 is equipped with Marcus Miller Heritage-3 Preamp which gives players many options to dial into any desired tone and sound versatility. With the toggle switch active/passive mode is easily accessible. Using the two mini toggle switch you can switch the front and rear humbucker pickups into single or humbucker mode conveniently. Also conveniently switch from serial-parallel setting.
SIRE preamp is a perfect example that represents our technology and philosophy integrated into our instruments. With multiple tone controls, you can have total command in finding and getting the tone you want. The use of 18v battery enables the player to attain unaltered natural sound with strong and powerful output. With 3 band EQ, the player can have versatility in sound that can be suited for all occasions of music sessions.
All models come with option for active and passive setting. Even in the passive mode, volume, tone, pickup balancer is fully functional, giving the player more controls for the tone in any mode.
And also conveniently switch from serial-parallel setting.
In the humbucker series mode strong and punchy tone can be produced than in the passive mode. In the humbucker parallel mode more smooth and brighter sound is produced which is ideal for pop and soft music. In the single pickup mode the setting would be closer to the Jazz bass but with the M7s smaller body than the V7, it produces a unique sound of its own.
The M7 is built with solid hard maple top as would all premium guitars would be built with. The solid top produces rich, vibrant and clear tone than a veneer top.
Premium swamp ash tone wood is usually found in higher priced instruments. Swamp ash tone wood is known to produce a well balanced tone. It is highly resonant and offers a nice balance of pleasant highs, firm lows, and a slightly scooped midrange which is great for slap playing. The characteristics of this wood enable players to emulate Marcus Miller’s tone a step further.
The bridge has much impact on the bass sound because it is the other connecting point for the strings from head machines. SIRE Marcus Miller M7 is equipped with Marcus Miller custom big mass 2 bridge. This bridge is built with heavy mass saddle which transfers the string vibration to the body to generate rich and full tone. This bridge also has body thru option where the strings are inserted from back side of the body giving it more tight and stability and vibrant tone.
Equipped with SIRE’s own Sire Diecasting Gear head machines developed with accurate gear ratio, the head machines are very reliable in turning.
Nut is one of the most important parts of the guitar that influences the performance, playability, and tone of the instrument. Depending on the quality of the material and elasticity, the nut can improve the sound or degrade the sound. Although bone nut is more costly and harder to work with, it is considered to deliver more balanced, clearer and smoother tone than plastic or eurite material.
The neck is made with one-piece hard maple. The neck is made with Canadian hard maple. With its hardness and strength it minimizes the movement and stabilizes the neck to maintain the original shape and condition. Also the one-piece neck minimizes the loss of vibration and maximizes the tone sustain and maintains the tone to lasts.
