POLAR 8 is based on well thought-out design principles and advanced, high-quality components.

The compact POLAR 8 column system is the optimal, compact sound reinforcement solution for musicians, entertainers, DJs, etc. It delivers perfect sound even in tight spaces, is easy to transport and therefore the right companion on small stages, in the rehearsal room, in the seminar room and at the garden party. POLAR 8 has the same impressive sound aesthetics as the big siblings POLAR 10 and POLAR 12 and convinces with practical features such as an efficient three-channel mixer and Bluetooth TWS (True Wireless Stereo), with the two POLAR 8 very easily and without cables can be used as a true stereo streaming system. High-quality speaker components, 1,200 watts (peak power) system output and an 8" high-performance subwoofer in a low-resonance, metal-reinforced plastic/ABS housing ensure power and expressiveness, precise bass reproduction and a stable, balanced sound at any volume. With a coverage angle of 120° x 45°, POLAR 8 ensures extremely even, balanced and present sound reinforcement without cancellations, full sound on the dance floor and in the first rows, a conversation-friendly volume at the end of the hall and makes additional stage monitors superfluous in most cases . POLAR 8 combines outstanding sound properties with uncomplicated handling and thus opens up the easiest way for the user to get the best sound. The three-channel mixer including master volume control offers two channels with XLR/jack combo sockets for microphones and line signals (e.g. mixers, keyboards) and one AUX channel with cinch sockets for DJ equipment or mp3 player that also controls Bluetooth audio at the same time. The overall sound can be adjusted to local conditions or personal taste in no time at all using the Sub Level and Treble controls. Bluetooth 5 audio streaming offers more connection security, in combination with Bluetooth 5-enabled devices, ranges of up to 40 meters and is backwards compatible. Two POLAR 8 can be wirelessly connected to a Bluetooth end device via Bluetooth TWS to form a real stereo system.

The POLAR 8 column

Six high-performance 2.5" neodynium loudspeakers with a 1" voice coil work in a curved-column arrangement in the POLAR 8 column element, which, with a radiation angle of 120° x 45°, also fills difficult or low rooms cleanly and evenly with sound. By omitting the spacer, POLAR 8 can be used even more flexibly, e.g. on high stages.

The POLAR 8 subwoofer

Thanks to a special case reinforcement made of metal (“anti-resonance bracing”), the low-resonance case ensures dry and precise bass reproduction. The POLAR 8 subwoofer is extremely compact, optimized for smaller spaces and easy to transport.

The integrated mixer

POLAR 8 offers a three-channel mixer including master volume control and modern Bluetooth 5 audio streaming: two channels for microphones and line signals (e.g. mixers, keyboards) and an AUX channel for DJ equipment or mp3 players , which also controls Bluetooth audio at the same time. XXL SOUND EXPERIENCE

High-quality speaker components deliver exceptionally transparent, natural sound from the deepest lows to the finest highs. This guarantees an XXL sound experience in every scenario – from discreet background music during dinner to the energetic climax of the event. The column element of the compact POLAR 8 features powerful 2.5″ neodymium speakers with a 1″ voice coil in a curved column arrangement. Together with the high-performance bass speaker in a metal-reinforced, low-resonance plastic enclosure and the 1,200 watt (peak power) Class-D power amplifier, the system offers powerful, uniform sound and superior power reserves. The 24-bit DSP in POLAR 10 and POLAR 12 delivers a homogeneous and low-distortion sound experience across all frequency ranges. The combination of a 1″ CD horn, high-performance midrange drivers and a specially developed long-throw bass speaker in an acoustically perfectly dimensioned wooden cabinet is driven by a generous 2,000 watts of power amp output.

TOP SOUND ALL AROUND

With its wide 120° throw pattern and low feedback tendency, POLAR is ideal for positioning on stage or in the room. In many cases, there’s no need for another stage monitor at all. POLAR can be set up without the lower column segment, making it easy to adjust the height from which sound is emitted, for example when used on a raised stage. The gradually declining volume level ensures sound pressure that packs a punch on the dance floor, a pleasantly full sound in the front rows and a conversation-friendly reduced volume at the back of the room. When positioned on the floor, POLAR’s subwoofer, spacer and mid/high unit combine to create the ideal vertical orientation for both standing and seated audiences. When set up on a stage, it can be positioned at the ideal height without the need for the spacer.
