Reserve Classic German Cut is “unfiled” and features a narrower table with a taper. This reed was designed specifically for German mouthpieces, but it can also be used for French mouthpieces and Eb clarinet, as well as instruments from earlier eras. The Reserve Classic German Cut reed is suitable for a wide range of symphonic and solo playing styles and offers a dark sound with a wide tonal color palette. All Reserve Classic blades are made from thick bar rubber; this rubber is extracted from the first four stalks of the rubber plant, providing greater leaf-to-leaf conformity.
