We are convinced that with the deluxe version of the traditional Chromonica 270/48 we have reached another important milestone in the construction of high-quality chromatic harmonicas with wooden comb bodies. Compared to the classic 270, the Chromonica 270/48 Deluxe has a whole range of improvements that optimize handling, provide higher volume and ensure a faster response without sacrificing the typical and powerful Hohner sound. It is ideal for all typical Chromonica styles but also for more modern playing techniques.
- - Assembled with five reed plate screws for optimal airtightness and easier maintenance.
- - Chrome-plated mouthpiece with round blowing openings for increased playing comfort
- (also suitable for standard Chromonica 270/48 and Toots models).
- - Extra thick brass reed plates (1.2 mm) ensure a full, powerful sound.
- - Low-noise, smooth-running slide mechanism.
- - Natural pearwood comb body with rounded outer edges for improved handling. Prepared for "left installation" of the slider.
- - Robust, stable and proven lid construction with attractive embossing.
