Sound and feel simply electrifying
The synthesizer engine of the EURUS GS-1 offers exceptional sound quality and natural response based on more than 40 years of BOSS experience in synthesizer development. The six internal memory locations are already filled with ready-to-play sounds. Via the GS-1 editor, you also have plenty more at your disposal. Furthermore, you'll find a synthesizer control knob on the guitar that allows for wide-ranging dynamic expression options when playing. The synthesizer sounds play smoothly and respond precisely to your guitar techniques without latency or trigger problems interfering with your musical flow.
Discover a new world of custom sounds via Bluetooth®
With the GS-1 editor app for iOS and Android mobile devices, you unlock the full sonic power of the synthesizer engine in your guitar. Access different synthesizer types and variations to create sounds and customize them in detail via parameters like Tone, Resonance and more. You can also assign a number of parameters to the guitar's synth knob and save your favorite sound combinations to your device for quick loading into the EURUS GS-1 before a performance.
Wireless performance control
With the optional EV-1-WL Wireless MIDI Expression Pedal you can control the EURUS GS-1 wirelessly via Bluetooth®. Using the GS-1 editor, you can select parameters such as Pitch Bend, Hold, Filter Depth, and then assign them to the EV-1-WL pedal, Toe Switch, and up to two external footswitches. You can customize the assignments for each sound: octave bends on a synth lead, slow filter sweeps for a pad sound, and more - the possibilities are almost endless.
Professional details and playability
The EURUS GS-1 is made in Japan and offers top-level playing fun with its professional details and components. The modern offset body design is not only a feast for the eyes, but also perfectly balanced. The slim neck features a compound radius fingerboard for high playing comfort and houses 24 frets for an extended tonal range. High-quality Gotoh hardware provides smooth tremolo action and tuning stability based on a two-point fulcrum bridge and height-shifted locking tuners. The two humbucker pickups were designed specifically for the EURUS GS-1 and deliver a flexible sound including split-coil tones in the intermediate positions of the 5-way switch.
Seamless expression
The guitar and synthesizer electronics in the EURUS GS-1 work completely independently, so you can switch seamlessly between the two voices. One moment you're playing a normal guitar - the next moment you flip the switch and change to the previously selected synth sound. In addition, the two 6.3 mm jack outputs allow you to play and edit the guitar and synthesizer sounds separately.
