Ce compresseur est vraiment bluffant pour le prix, le son est rond et chaud et la compression optique vraiment très douce et aussi bien pratique en mode limiteur. Les basses sont un peu moins profondes que la version Warm Audio, mais il est possible de le modifier (changement de la cellule optique) si vous souhaitez l'utiliser sur des éléments qui ont vraiment besoin de ce son. Autrement la connexion à l'arrière pour en utiliser 2 en stéréo est vraiment bienvenue et le réglage pré-emphasis sur la face avant est idéale.
