Das Ding ist sehr laut, die Absenkung auf 1/4 bewirkt gar nichts. Immerhin hat diese Version einen Clean-Kanal. Der Sound des Overdrive-Kanals ist hingegen aus Prinzip stark verzerrt, auch mit wenig Gain - klingt wie das Riff von 'Ain't talking about love'. Die Regler sind ein wenig leichtgängig, ansonsten Qualitätsarbeit aus Mexiko.

EVH 5150 im Taschenformat

Dieses Amp ist sehr gut gebaut und robust. Ich spiele es mit einem 2x12 ENGL 
Bedienung ist einfach.

PRO:
Clean sound ist sehr nah von ein fender blues junior und frisst jede Effekt Pedalen. (Clean channel lässt sich auch gut leise spielen)
Drive channel ist mega (zu) laut und eignet sich mehr für rock - hardrock als für Metal.

CONS:
Amp in Drive mod ist sehr laut auch im 4W modus (lautsträrke bleibt gleich... vielleicht nur weniger head room)
Du brauchst ein noise gate für den Drive channel meine Meinung nach.

Nicht PRO oder CONS:
bei allein spielen würde man schon sagen, dass es am LOW END fehlt.... Aber im Band ist den Sound mix einfach perfekt wegen super präzise medium.
Also grund sätzlich ein gutes amp für mitschlepen und auch mit pedalen zu spielen. Wenn du es nur kaufst um den reine verzerte tube sound, vielleicht gibt es 'bessere / andere' alternativen.
