Simulating a Leslie effect using two speakers remains challenging, but the Neo Instruments Ventilator II comes close. I intend to use it primarily for headphone listening, so it's a great substitute for my Leslie 3300: not only are the rotors simulated, but also the characteristic sound produced by the tube amplifier and the Jensen driver. The enclosure is also very heavy and robust. The remote control connection can also be easily configured and can be operated with both the included pedal and traditional Leslie switches. The only drawback is that the knobs have dual functions, so you need to pay close attention to the switch position. Without instructions, it's difficult to figure out how everything works.
