The JBL PRX825W is an absolute high-power speaker with a maximum sound pressure level of 138 dB peak thanks to the double 15" bass reinforcement. The integrated bi-amp power amplifier module delivers a total of 1,500 watts and has a DSP with all controller functions. These can be individually configured via Wi-Fi and the PRX Connect app. The EQ setting can be switched from 'Normal' to 'Boost' depending on the application and type of signal. Other features include two inputs, each with XLR, jack and RCA connection sockets, as well as a switchable output on XLR for forwarding the input signal. The input sensitivity can be switched from mic to line. Due to its high performance, the JBL PRX825W is also suitable for extreme level requirements as an independent "stand alone" system. The two 15" woofers also reproduce bass-emphasized and very low frequencies very well without an additional subwoofer. The JBL PRX825W also uses high-quality dual coil drive chassis, specially developed neodymium high-frequency drivers and very efficient digital Class-D power amplifier circuits. The trapezoidal housing is made of sturdy multiplex wood and coated with JBL's durable DuraFlex paint. The front grille is made of powder-coated steel and backed with acoustically transparent fabric. It effectively protects the components from mechanical impact.
