The Skin Udu is the highlight of our Udu program. It offers lots of features. In addition to the side sound opening for producing soft and harmonizing bass sounds, the Skin Udu has a thin, slightly attractive natural fur. Depending on your playing technique, the tightly wound and pre-tuned membrane can create a kaleidoscope of sounds between vibrating low bass and overtone-strong, darabuka-related sounds. Through different wall thicknesses, this Udu develops coordinated, tonal-percussive body sounds. The combination of oriental drum sounds with soft, low-frequency bass sounds creates inspiring, incomparable sound experiences.
